My sweet blue bird Sydney,

For 16 years you were my constant companion who made each day happier. You were with me through joyous and toilsome times and life with you was an adventure.

You were the cleverest bird that I have ever known, sharing your shenanigans and finding creative ways to communicate with me. I miss your sweet little besos (kisses) and the way you’d seek my company or fall asleep on my shoulder.

Being without you saddens me, but remembering our time together makes my heart flutter. I feel so fortunate that you could be a part of my life. I love you. I will see you in my dreams.
